What to Watch

1. Justin Bailey

Bailey was recalled last night from the Rochester Americans. He’ll fill the roster spot vacated by Kyle Okposo who is out with a concussion. This call up may be Bailey’s last chance to make his mark at the NHL level with the Sabres.

2. Lehner or Johnson

Chad Johnson was playing well until he was pulled from the game against the Calgary Flames on Wednesday night. Lehner is coming off a good performance in a win against the Ottawa Senators on Thursday. We’ll see who Phil Housley decides to put between the pipes tonight.

Know Your Opponent

1. Setting Records

The Golden Knights are arguably the biggest surprise of the NHL season. They’ve broke almost every record in the book for an expansion team. They’re also on their way to a playoff appearance.

2. Wild Bill

William Karlsson is having a breakout season. The former Columbus Blue Jacket has 35 goals and 60 points in 67 games this season. He’s one of the reasons that the Knights find themselves where they are in the standings right now.

3. Flower

Marc-Andre Fleury is another player having a fantastic season. He has 23 wins in 35 starts. The All-Star also has a 2.19 goals against average and a .928 save percentage. His playoff experience will be big for Vegas moving forward.
