The Prince Albert Raiders lose 4-3 in OT, but Vojtech Budik registers an assist to keep his point streak at 7 games. This would be the last time he scores a point thus ending his streak.

Brandon Hagel is able to find himself in this game, though. A two assist night and his sixth multi-point night of the season. Hagel has been putting shots on net during his rather disappointing season, but just has not been able to find the back of the net.

Wednesday, January 31st

Brandon Hagel, once again, puts on a good showing for the Rebels as they win 2-0 against the Saskatoon Blades. 2 SOG. Discipline was a concern as Hagel did pick up a 2:00 Unsportsmanlike Conduct.

Friday, February 2nd

Cliff Pu racks up a secondary assist in Kingston’s 7-1 win over Oshawa. Pu, trying not to be outshined by a stacked Frontenacs team, has 18 points since being moved to Kingston from London.

The Rochester Americans could not beat the Marlies once again this season, on Friday night. During a 4-2 loss, Brian Gionta scored an incredible goal before taking off for the Olympics and Alexander Nylander and C.J. Smith add secondary assists. That’s Smith 25th assist on the year.

Linus Weissbach had a great game against Michigan with some crisp passes as UW come from behind on the Wolverines and win 5-3 while putting up 40 shots.

Judd Peterson deposits a goal and scores an assist in the Huskies’ 5-3 win over Omaha.

Brandon Hagel scores his eighth goal of the season.

Saturday, February 3rd

Cliff Pu goes on a tear in Kingston’s 5-3 win over Niagara. He scores one and supplies 3 secondary assists.

Linus Weissbach is able to put up a secondary assist in Wisconsin’s 4-2 win over Michigan. His three assists on the weekend put him at 22 points on the year.

Jacob Bryson scores his 2nd and 3rd goals of the year Saturday.

Will Borgen is able to get on the scoresheet before heading out the Winter Olympics with a nice point shot.

Sunday, February 4th

Vasily Glotov caps off the weekend with his 25th goal on the season. Nice to see him scoring again in the offensive heavy QMJHL.
