What to Watch

1. No Eichel

While at this point in time we don’t know the exact injury with Jack Eichel. It’s pretty safe to assume he won’t be in the lineup. It’ll be a big hole, but they were able to beat a pretty good Bruins team without him for most of the game last night.

2. Reinhart has turned the corner.

Sam Reinhart has been on fire since the calendar flipped to 2018. He has 14 points in his last 11 games. The 22-year-old forward is looking like the player we expected to see to start the season.

3. Call-up coming?

While the Sabres have not made anything official. John Vogl of the Buffalo News has said he believes Nick Baptiste is on his way to Buffalo from Rochester.

Know Your Opponent

2. Five Game Slide

Colorado is on the final game of a three-game road trip. They’re starting to struggle without their star player. They’ve lost four of five games coming into tonight. The Avalanche have scored one goal or less in three of the last five.
