The World Junior U20 tournament snuck up on us here with the Sabres playing well this season.
This year it’ll take place in Vancouver and Victoria, Canada, from December 26 to January 5.
A few countries began to announce their preliminary and camp rosters today with the tournament only a few weeks away.
The Finnish club announced two Sabres prospects to their preliminary roster, goaltender Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen and defenseman Oskari Laaksonen.
Finland will also feature one of the top 2019 draft eligibles, forward Kaapo Kakko.

We’ll keep an eye on the Team USA roster announcements to see if 2018 second-round pick, defenseman Mattias Samuelsson has a chance to compete in the tournament.
The Sabres will have probably at least two prospects participating and a potential to have four all together.
