What to Watch

1. Tired Opponent

The Sabres should have an advantage tonight. The Flames are coming into tonight playing their sixth game in nine nights and second straight after picking up a win in Toronto last night.

2. Johnny Good at Hockey

Johnny Gaudreau is off to another hot start for Calgary. He has five goals and 15 points in 12 games. The top line of Gaudreau, Sean Monahan, and Elias Lindholm is one of the hotter lines in the game right now.

3. Special Teams

The penalty kill and power play may play a large factor in the outcome of tonight’s game. The Flames are in the bottom portion of the league with both units. The Sabres come in ranked 16th on the PP and 20th on the PK.

Sabres are 5-0-1 when they score a power play goal.
