Vojtech Budik continues a hot streak and some NCAA prospects pick up some big goals.

Tuesday, January 23rd

Christopher Brown helps the Eagles set-up on the powerplay for a secondary assist in BC’s 2-1 win over UMass. Casey Fitzgerald and Ivan Chukarov were pointless but put in a few shots here and there.

Wednesday, January 24th

Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen makes 33 saves in a 2-0 loss to Espoo United. UPL has started to turn it around after a hot start was cooled off by lack of help on defense and offense.

Currently, he is back up to a .912 save percentage and making the 2nd most saves in the league (639).

Thursday, January 25th

Victor Olofsson scores again, with a beauty of a one-timer, while applying six shots on net in Frolunda’s 7-1 win.

Friday, January 26th

Casey Mittelstadt deposits a rebound after some silky slick zone-entry moves and a slot pass. The OT goal put Minnesota on top of #1, at the time, Notre Dame.

Christopher Brown picks up assists in consecutive games in BC’s 3-2 loss to UMass Lowell. His eighth of the year.

Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen takes another L for LeKi in their 6-4 loss to SaPKo. He made 26 saves in the process.

Jacob Bryson put on three shots in Providence’s 4-4 tie with Northeastern but was a -2.

Austin Osmanski collects his 13th assist of the year in the Petes 5-4 OT loss to Mississauga.

The Amerks are unable to catch-up to the Marlies in the standings as they are downed 2-0 in the head to head matchup. Linus Ullmark making 37 saves in the loss.

Vasily Glotov scores number 24 on the year in Shawinigan’s 5-2 loss to the Oceanic.

Vojtech Budik finds a secondary assist in order to keep his point streak alive at 5 games. He wouldn’t have any problem with that tomorrow either.

Saturday, January 27th

Vojtech Budik scores and adds 3 assists to bring his point total this year to 25 in 42 games.

Marcus Davidsson finds the scoresheet again to bring his goal total to six on the year.

After some quiet times with the stacked Kingston Frontenacs, Cliff Pu is able to collect his 3rd multi-point game in a Fronts uniform. A goal and two assists put him to 12 in the OHL in points.

Linus Wiessbach has a big night for the Badgers. A goal, assist, and a successful shootout attempt. 8 goals, 11 assists and 51 shots for Linus this year.

Sunday, January 28th

After getting burned on the opening marker of the game, Rasmus Asplund scores the GWG for Farjestad in their 2-1 victory over Lulea.

Brandon Hagel’s injury kept him out for a while. He has not scored a goal since November and has only has seven on the year.
