The Buffalo Sabres went forward with first pick of the fourth round at 94 overall. They selected forward Matej Pekar from the USHL.

The Czech-born forward can play both center and the wing. He’s 6’0” and 170 pounds. He scored 14 goals and 54 points in 56 games for the Muskegon Lumberjackers of the USHL.
He’ll head to the University of Miami (OH) next season to continue his hockey career.
The Sabres are up next at 117 overall.
