Two Questions

1. How will the Sabres look coming out of the break?

After five days off, the Buffalo Sabres are back in action tonight, and they catch a break by getting to play to woeful Avalanche in their return game. Teams coming off of the bye have struggled this season, losing more than they’ve won, but after a high-energy practice yesterday, the Sabres will look to turn that trend.

2. How will Girgensons and Reinhart look tonight?

Both players are returning from injury and/or sickness tonight, and with their return, the Sabres are as healthy as they’ve been all season. Reinhart will slot into his familiar position alongside Jack Eichel, while Girgensons will take over as the third line center, pushing Evan Rodrigues down to the fourth line and Deslauriers to the bench.

Projected Buffalo Lines

56 Justin Bailey -- 90 Ryan O'Reilly -- 21 Kyle Okposo
Evander Kane -- 15 Jack Eichel -- 23 Sam Reinhart
82 Marcus Foligno -- 28 Zemgus Girgensons -- 12 Brian Gionta
26 Matt Moulson -- 71 Evan Rodrigues -- 63 Tyler Ennis

29 Jake McCabe -- 55 Rasmus Ristolainen
77 Dmitry Kulikov -- 47 Zach Bogosian
Josh Gorges -- 6 Cody Franson
