The Sabres hit the ice for practice again today before they play two games this weekend against the Florida Panthers tomorrow night and Montreal Canadiens on Saturday at the Bell Centre. Here are a few notes and quick hits that were reported from practice today:
- Jack Eichel and Evander Kane returned to the ice after missing yesterday with a maintenance day. The forward lines remained the same from the game on Tuesday.

Kane-Eichel-Pominville
Pouliot-O’Reilly-Okposo
Baptiste-Reinhart-Griffith
Girgensons-Larsson-Nolan
Moulson and Bailey extra
- Nathan Beaulieu and Josh Gorges both practiced again today. Beaulieu skated with Victor Antipin, while Gorges was paired with Zach Redmond. Beaulieu also saw some power play work which is a good sign he’ll likely return tomorrow.
- Phil Housley announced today that Rasmus Ristolainen is now being characterized as week to week with his injury. Another odd twist after the club’s top defender was listed as day to day a week ago. Since day to day players miss a few weeks in Housley’s designation, it likely means we won’t see Ristolainen for some time.
Coach also says that Rasmus Ristolainen is week-to-week.
