In Episode 60 - It's Not That Hard hosts Chad DeDominicis and Bill Schake talk about the latest with the Buffalo Sabres. They look at how October ended as well as the few games of the month. We’re starting to see improvement from early in the season, but still not getting the results.
We look ahead to November and preview the games during the month. Bill points out how the back to back’s on the weekends throughout the month are important for the club.
Also we touch on Matt Tennyson who is averaging 18:10 time on ice so far this season. Phil Housley also doubled down and stated he believed Tennyson was playing well enough to earn the minutes. However, when you look at the numbers he’s been on the ice for the most even strength goals against on the team with 13.
I make a plea to put Sam Reinhart back with Jack Eichel. We also go through the roster and discuss how Housley may be making his life more difficult than he has to we.
We also touch on the Baptiste call up, the process and how early is too early for Christmas among other topics.
