Johan Larsson‘s season has come to an early end, as the forward told a Swedish newspaper the injury he suffered against the Boston Bruins Saturday is a very long-term one.
“Unfortunately my season is over,” Larsson said to Gotland Newspapers via text message.
Larsson was kept in a Boston hospital over the weekend after dislocating both his elbow and wrist on a crash into the boards. He’s back in Buffalo after undergoing surgery.
Larsson scored six goals and 11 points in 36 games this season. He’ll be a restricted free agent at the end of the season.
