Team USA bid farewell to the tournament last night after another comprehensive beating, this time at the hands of arch-rivals Team Canada. Of course, the most savage action of the night came away from the game through a tweet by Phil Kessel -
Just sitting around the house tonight w my dog. Felt like I should be doing something important, but couldn't put my finger on it.
— Phil Kessel (@PKessel81) September 21, 2016
In the other game of the day, Team Sweden had beaten Team Finland 2-0 to eliminate the Finns from the tournament as well.
Today its the youngsters who will be attempting to seal their spot in the next round, and will have to beat Sweden handily to get ahead of the Russians. In the night game, Canada and Europe have already qualified for the semis and will be playing for top spot in Group A.
