Another four games on tonight

Brad Rempel-USA TODAY Sports

A couple of teams took steps towards the next round last night, with both the Lightning and the Blues taking 3-1 series leads. The Penguins won to edge ahead 2-1 against the Rangers, while the Ducks regained some pride but are still behind the Predators 2-1.

Tonight the Capitals have a chance to complete the sweep in the Flyers barn at 7pm EST. Needless to say Philadelphia will not be handing out (throwable) freebies to the fans in attendance tonight. The Panthers are at the Islanders at 8pm, down 2-1.

In the Western Conference, the Stars are back in Minnesota leading the Wild 2-1 at 9:30pm. And then in the final game of the night, the Sharks are at home leading the Kings 2-1. Puck drop in the Battle of California is at 10:30pm.
