Two Questions

1. How will the Sabres rookies look after their huge win on Saturday?

Jack Eichel, Sam Reinhart, Hudson Fasching, and Casey Nelson all contributed to a big 3-2 comeback win against the Jets on Saturday. Can the youngsters play just as well on the road against the Red Wings?

2. Will Chad Johnson keep playing at a high level?

Tonight will be Johnson's fifth consecutive start, and the Sabres have won three of his last four starts. Another win tonight against a team pushing for the playoffs would certainly give GM Tim Murray more of a reason to look toward keeping Johnson next year as the team's backup.

Projected BUF lines

Kane - O'Reilly - Fasching
Girgensons - Eichel - Reinhart
Foligno - Larsson - Gionta
Catenacci - Legwand - Moulson

Gorges - Ristolainen
McCabe - Bogosian
Pysyk - Nelson

Goal: Chad Johnson
