This Tyler Ennis goal was ESPN's NHL play of the year

The only time all season a Sabres player was #1 in anything, and it's very well deserved.

Kevin Hoffman-USA TODAY Sports

In a season where hardly anything went right for the Buffalo Sabres, their one consistent, productive performer was Tyler Ennis. Voted MVP by his teammates, Ennis managed once again to have a few highlight reel plays despite spending much of the season paired with AHL players and underperforming wingers.

Last night, ESPN ran their Top 10 NHL Plays of the Year on SportsCenter,  and guess who ended up with the #1 play?

Congrats to Ennis on an amazing goal, and I for one can't wait to see what he can do with better teammates surrounding him next season.
