Sabres Links

  • Elliotte Friedman had some awesome info on the Sabres, Tyler Myers and Evander Kane. Ok, here we go. First, it looks like Winnipeg will keep Myers (#13). Calgary was reportedly interested in both Myers and Kane, but didn't want to give up Sam Bennett, Sean Monahan, or Mikael Backlund (#14). Washington and Arizona were both in on Kane, but didn't have the ammo to make it happen (#15). Los Angeles also asked about Myers earlier this season, but the Sabres wanted Tyler Toffoli or Tanner Pearson (#17). The Sabres also have talked to Boston about Malcolm Subban, but the Bruins weren't interested (#18). Tim Murray has actually been interested in Kane for a while, going all the way back to Ottawa (#22). [Sportsnet]
