Sabres vs. Sharks Preview: The quest for a winning record

With a win tonight, the Sabres would be over .500 for the first time in almost three years.

Two Questions

1. Which team will be over .500 at the end of the night?

With both teams coming in 8-8-0, one of them will be over .500 when the clock strikes midnight. For the Sharks, who are playoff regulars, that isn't exactly the most exciting milestone, but for Sabres fans...

What a time to be alive, Sabres fans.

2. Speaking of getting over .500, will the Sabres have anyone with a positive +/- once the game ends?

As of now, Buffalo have just two players with a positive +/- rating - Johan Larsson, and Sam Reinhart, who both sit at +1. Marcus Foligno, Carlo Colaiacovo, Matt Moulson, Mark Pysyk, and Zemgus Girgensons are all at +0. Obviously the Sabres winning streak has much to do with some of these players crawling their way out of the +/- basement, but it would be neat to pair the Sabres going over .500 with them actually having + players for the first time in about two years.
