Lowry suspended one game for hit on Kaleta

The Jets forward will sit for Winnipeg's Friday night battle with the Bruins.

The NHL announced on Thanksgiving that they have suspended Jets forward Adam Lowry one game for his hit from behind on Patrick Kaleta. Lowry received a five-minute major and a game misconduct for the hit as well.

Kaleta left the game, but returned in the third period after getting stitched up. Combined with Lowry not being a repeat offender, the length of the suspension is not surprising.
