Tim Murray told the media the past couple weeks that they shouldn’t worry about the salary floor, and he showed them way today. After all the moves that the Sabres made, Murray spoke with the media at 4:30 at the First Niagara Center.
There were some interesting tidbits, including the fact that Murray’s phone went off mid-interview. He also said that the Sabres were on the top of Matt Moulson’s list and that there were many other players that were interested in coming to Buffalo that weren’t signed by the team.
