Today is Christmas Day and even if you don't celebrate that particular holiday, it's still a time of merriment and gift-giving for families all over the world. Presents will be opened, gifts will be exchanged, and hopefully most of you will end up with some new trinkets in your life to enjoy.
Our favorite hockey team, the Buffalo Sabres, is currently in need of a great many things. From a general manager, to a full-time head coach, to any number of forwards, defenseman, or even a goalie solution after this season.
Today, we're going to ask you to play Santa Claus to the Sabres organization. If you could give the Sabres anything for Christmas, what do you think they could use the most? Try to keep your answer to one thing in particular, but feel free to expand if you just can't help yourself (and we anticipate that most of you won't.)
You can be vague, and go with something like "a proven playmaking center", or you can get specific, name some names, and lay out a distinct plan, if you wish. Is it more important to solidify the GM or the head coach first? Let us know what you'd like to leave under the Sabres' tree in the comments.
Or, if you'd just rather let everyone know what you got under your tree (or what you bought yourself during all the great holiday sales) then feel free.
From all of us here at DBTB, we hope you and yours have had a safe, festive, and fun holiday season. We'll be back tomorrow with regular coverage, but for today, we wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy Holiday.
