Senators Vs. Sabres: Can The Sabres Actually Defeat The Senators At Home

New, comments

The Buffalo Sabres are looking to defeat the Ottawa Senators for the fourth time this season. That would be the first time that happened since 2001-02. The Sabres haven't had very good luck against the Senators in many seasons, they are 4-5-1 in their last 10 and 1-8-1 at home. The last Buffalo win against the Senators at HSBC Arena was January 6, 2009, a full two years ago. The last two games in this series will be in Buffalo and the Senators would love nothing to play the role of spoiler to the Sabres playoff chances.

- Ryan Miller has a 3-1 record against the Senators this year with a 1.46 goals against average and .949 save percentage. In his career, he hasn't had that much success. He has a 12-15 record with a 2.72 goals against average and .914 save percentage.

- The Senators are playing in their 13th set of back to back games, with the second coming against the Philadelphia Flyers tomorrow night. The Senators are 3-6-3 in those games.

- Cory Clouston is 10-2-2 in his short coaching career against the Buffalo Sabres and won his first ever game against the Sabres on February 7, 2009.

Game time is 7:30 pm on MSG.
