So the title is ridiculously cheesy but after the Sabres hiccup against the Toronto Maple Leafs, they have a chance to bring themselves into the Eastern Conference playoffs with a win against the St. Louis Blues

The St. Louis Blues will be without Jaroslav Halak who injured his right hand and has been placed on injured reserve. Ty Conklin will get the start for the Blues which could be dangerous. Conklin has a 6-1 record lifetime against the Buffalo Sabres but as some fans will remember, did nothing for the Sabres when he was a backup in 2006. The Blues have also earned points in every game on the road this season against Eastern Conference opponents, they are 4-0-2 this season in that department.

This is the Sabres second of six home games to end the month of February. There are two key stretches for the Sabres in their schedule, this six game home stand and the seven game road trip that leads off the month of March. Ryan Miller is 1-1 in his career against the St. Louis Blues, with his last game being November 12, 2008.

This weekend is Hockey Across America and 300 Level II tickets to this game can be had at a $20 discount if fans use the promo code USA Hockey. Game time is 7:30 pm and can be found on MSG.
