SPG Game

As a reminder, the SPG Game is back again this year. It's a very simple concept where you pick the player who gets the first shot, first penalty, and first goal in each period. You can sign up here and its really easy to play. Prizes haven't been decided yet, but there probably will be some for the leader at the end of the season.

Game Notes

- The Sabres were 1-4-1 against the Senators last season, including 1-2 in Ottawa.

- Ryan Miller is 3-1-1 in season opening games since the lockout.

- The last time Buffalo opened the season against Ottawa was 1995, they won that game 3-1.
