Ryan Miller can't seem to catch a break this season and the Sabres can't seem to win at home with another 4-2 loss to the Ottawa Senators. The Sabres are 0-4-1 at home this season, the only point coming against the New Jersey Devils

Its not like the Sabres didn't try in this game, its just that the Senators can't lose at HSBC Arena, the last Sabres win against the Senators at home was January 6, 2009. Tim Connolly was the lone Sabres scorer, scoring twice against Brian Elliott, while Daniel Alfredsson scored a hat trick that gave him 1,000 career points.

For those of you that missed the game, here are the highlights:

In this game, you can't fault the Sabres for the lack of trying. They had 36 shots on goal, including 20 shots in the third period. It was just that Brian Elliott finally got his game on in the third and controlled every rebound that came his way. The Senators scored twice on the power play, crushing one of the few bright spots the Sabres have had this season.

The Sabres can try and get their season back on track with four roads game, the next one on Saturday against the New Jersey Devils. Unfortunately for the Sabres, Johan Hedberg will get his first start of the season against the Devils. Hedberg has a 12-2 record against the Sabres, his best record versus a team.
