Once again Die by the Blade has added another voice to give you the very best coverage and opinion on the Buffalo Sabres. Please join me in welcoming Dave Davis to Die by the Blade as a front page writer. Dave and I go back a couple of years in our coverage of the Buffalo Sabres. We hosted Sabres Weekly, a live webcast and podcast dedicated to the Buffalo Sabres.
Dave has already written his first post and it's easy to see what his role will be. He will not be an everyday writer but instead he will focus on writing opinion pieces. He brings a new flair to the site as well because he sometimes looks at the glass being half empty instead of half full. It's new and interesting perspective for the site.
The second order of business is the 2009 rankings. The fine tech wizards at SB Nation worked tirelessly to build top 10 lists for each and every SB Nation blog. 2009 was a big year for Die by the Blade, and although our numbers don't compare with some of the bigger blog,s they were definitely improved.
