Sabres Sign Tyler Ennis to Entry Level Contract

The Buffalo Sabres have announced they have signed Tyler Ennis to a three year entry level contract.  This gives Ennis a opportunity to begin his professional career and will add more skill and depth to the Portland Pirates roster.

Ennis was a first round draft pick of the Sabres in 2008, the same year the Sabres selected defenseman Tyler Myers.  Ennis played four years with the Medicine Hat Tigers of the WHL, scoring 115 goals in 245 games.  Ennis is another small skill player that fits along the same mold of a Derek Roy.

The Sabres are showing their progression into the world of social media.  They made the announcement via the official team Twitter account.

The #Sabres have signed forward Tyler Ennis to a 3-yr entry level contract. Ennis was Buffalo's 1st rd pick (26th overall) in 2008.
