A Night of Game Sixes in the Western Conference

Two teams try and hold on to their playoff dreams while the other two teams try and seal the deal tonight in the Western Conference.

Chicago Blackhawks vs. Calgary Flames (Chicago leads series 3-2)

The Flames are trying to force a game seven in Chicago tonight and they have to do that without their leading defenseman.  Dion Phaneuf left game five early after getting rocked by Troy Brouwer.  The Flames alone have been a walking injury ward this playoff season with most of their players either out or nursing some sort of injury.

The Blackhawks are going to try and do something they haven't been able to do all playoffs, win on the road.   Their only three wins have come at the United Center and if the Blackhawks have any chance of closing out the series tonight they have to find a way to quiet the Saddledome crowd.  I think that the Blackhawks are going to be able to learn from their blowout of the Flames in Game 5 and be able to seal the deal tonight.

San Jose Sharks vs. Anaheim Ducks (Anaheim leads series 3-2)

The Sharks really need to find something more than a miraculous overtime win for them to survive Game six tonight.  Their key players need to step up and be able to lead this team to what is going to be a tough road win tonight.  The Ducks have really been able to out hustle the Sharks in the series and just need to play the same type of game they played to get in this spot.
