Playoff Previews - April 21st

Pittsburgh/Philadelphia - 7pm, CBC, Versus (Penguins lead series 2-1)

This series has really been an entertaining series between two teams that really, really, really dislike each other.  The Flyers are looking to even the series up at two and probably are going to be able to accomplish that feat.  While I still have faith in the Penguins, the Flyers will use their home crowd to their advantage again.

Detroit/Columbus - 7pm, TSN (Red Wings lead series 2-0)

The Blue Jackets need some help as they head back home for the first time ever in the playoffs.  It will be interesting to see how the Blue Jackets crowd is intensity wise.  Most teams can be able to feed off the crowd but will the Columbus crowd have enough to bring it.

Devils/Hurricanes - 7:30pm TSN2 (Devils lead series 2-1)

The Devils and Hurricanes have gone to overtime twice now in their first three games.  The Devils will be again without Jamie Langenbrunner and the Hurricanes need the win to tie the series back up again.

Canucks/Blues - 8:30pm CBC (Canucks lead series 3-0)

The Blues face elimination tonight as they try and avoid the sweep at the hands of Roberto Luongo.  The Canucks have been able to ride the wave of good play at the hands of Luongo who has a 1.00 GAA and .963 SV% in the three games of the series.

Sharks/Ducks - 10pm CBC, Versus (Ducks lead series 2-0)

The Sharks need a win desperately to stave off all of the naysayers who think they are going to choke away in the playoffs.  The Ducks need to be able to keep playing well in front of goaltender Jonas Hiller who has a .975 SV% in the two games of this series.
