All-Time Number Debate: 1 Roger Crozier

So many Sabres have come and gone in the organization over the past 39 years.  But who was the best wearing their number.  This is going to settle that debate.  Using the Buffalo Sabres Alumni listing of all-time uniform numbers we will post a player a day based on their number.  After a certain uniform number is up, we put the vote to you.

Roger Crozier was the first goaltender for the Buffalo Sabres.  Crozier was traded to the Sabres in 1970 for Tom Webster from Detroit.  Crozier started the first game for the Buffalo Sabres and played for six seasons in the Blue and Gold.  Crozier faced his fare share of action while a Sabre.  He holds the Sabres record for the most shots faced in a season with 2,190.  Crozier had a career record of 74-76-29 during his Sabres career and also was part of the 1973 and 1975 playoff teams.  He was the losing goalie in the finals clinching game during the 1975 finals.
