All-Time Number Debate: 1 David Littman

So many Sabres have come and gone in the organization over the past 39 years.  But who was the best wearing their number.  This is going to settle that debate.  Using the Buffalo Sabres Alumni listing of all-time uniform numbers we will post a player a day based on their number.  After a certain uniform number is up, we put the vote to you.

Today's player is David Littman.  Littman was selected 211th by the Sabres in the 1987 draft.  He played two games total for the Sabres, one during the 1990-91 season and one during the 1991-92 season.  He wore two different jerseys during that time, the 34 jersey you see above and the 1 jersey that is up for debate.

Littman wore the number 1 jersey during the 1991-92 season.  During that season he played his only game against the New York Islanders on March 14, 1992.  He played the full 60 minutes and allowed 4 goals on 29 shots.

Littman played a total of 3 games in the NHL, two for the Sabres and the third for the Tampa Bay Lightning during the 1992-93 season.
