Final Score |
This isn't the same Phoenix Coyotes team that we are used to seeing and maybe that is a good thing for the Sabres. Wayne Gretzky has built a young and vibrant team that is completing for a playoff spot. The Coyotes are usually battling in the basement and the Sabres usually struggle with them, but this season the Coyotes are a legitimit opponent so maybe the Sabres will be more inspired. Last season Phoenix beat Buffalo 6-2 in an afternoon game in Phoenix.
Notes
- There have been reports that Patrick Kaleta was practicing and may be in the lineup tonight.
- The Sabres have not lost back-to-back games since January 10 and January 14 when they were beat by the Detroit Red Wings and Chicago Blackhawks respectively.
- Ryan Miller is expected in goal again for the Sabres...expect to see Lalime in Anaheim on Monday.
