The Sabres have been red hot of late and will look to continue that trend this evening. They are currently two points behind the Bruins for the eighth and final playoff spot, a win this evening will tie the two teams in eighth place. The Sabres beat the Bruins on Tuesday in Boston, a game where Boston was probably the better team.
It looks like the Sabres will still be without the services of Max Afinogenov and Tim Connolly. It looks like Afinogenov will be back at some point but with everyday that Connolly is out it looks more and more like he'll be out for the remainder of the season.

{update 2:04pm} According to Mike Harrington at the Buffalo News Blog the Sabres Edge, Tim Connolly is closer than Afinogenov to returning.
