The fans in Buffalo will get an opportunity to welcome back an old friend for the second time and quite possibly say goodbye to another.  Daniel Briere will be back in Buffalo for the second time this season and it comes just two days after Chris Drury made his first visit to Buffalo.  As for saying goodbye to a close friend, Brian Campbell's agent stated today that he fully expects that Brian Campbell will be moved at the deadline.  I'll have much more on the Campbell thing after the game.

As for the game tonight it's a big game for both teams.  The Sabres are currently in eighth place at 68 points with the Flyers just one point behind at 67 points.  Both teams have 20 games remaining including tonight and are fighting for their playoff lives.  It is apparent that the Flyers have decided to make a run at the playoffs despite a 10 game winless streak and the loss of Mike Richards from the lineup.  The Flyers acquired Jaroslav Modry from Los Angeles in order to shore up their blue line while the Sabres have yet to decide if they are buying or selling.
