The season is growing nearer as the Sabres travel to Minnesota for a rematch of the Wild 2-1 shooyout victory on Sunday at HSBC Arena. The Sabres allowed a one-goal lead to slip away in the waning moments when the Wild scored a power play goal with just about three minutes left to play. The bright side is that Pre-Season games are not about winning and losing as much as practice and evealuation. Many young players earned valuable minutes that will allow them to mature into the players they are hoped to be.
