Maybe it's just me

As I was sitting and waiting patiently (bold for emphasis) for tonights game to start I realized something important.  I need to hear your response to this as well, basically so I know if I am crazy or not.  What did I realize?  I realized that the more the Sabres lose the more I anticipate every game.  It sounded strange to me at first but it makes perfect sense.

Last season the Sabres won more often then not and it became a bit stale and boring.  It was expected that they would win every time they stepped on the ice, of course they didn't but it didn't really matter.  The team was so far ahead in the standings that a loss here and there was not important.  This season is much different, the team is on a nine game winless streak and they are currently out of the playoff hunt.  It makes me want to cheer even more for a victory, a victory I'm sure the team deserves based on the way they are playing.

The question here is am I crazy or do you agree with me?  Are the games more exciting because of the losing streak and the playoff chase?  Please vote in the poll and leave me comments as to why you voted the way you did.
