Background
Peters has always been known as an enforcer. He had 14 goals in 1998-1999 while playing for the Oshawa Generals of the Ontario Hockey League. In 2001-2202 Peters had 388 penalty minutes while playing for the Rochester Americans of the AHL. Peters has only three goals, one assist and 376 penalty minutes with the Buffalo Sabres.
Scouting Report
Peters is a big tough guy who is always in the mood for a fight. He is not a threat in the offensive zone by any stretch of the imagination.

Peters will continue to play sparingly on the fourth line until the Sabres can find a suitable replacement as the enforcer. The role of the enforcer is still a necessary one despite the way the game has changed.
