The Buffalo News and WGRZ-TV 2 are both reporting that Nathan Paetsch has reportedly signed a three year deal with just under $3 million.  If the news is correct it would appear that the Sabres team is set for next season.  The Sabres have not yet announced the deal but it appears that it is done.  There are so many questions to be answered now.  Is this the team they will go into the season with?  Does this contract mean that Paetsch will be a regular in the lineup?  If he is than who is the odd man out?  These are all questions that need to be answered.

The current roster looks like this:

Forwards(13): Thomas Vanek(#26), Derek Roy(#9), Maxim Afinogenov(#61), Tim Connolly(#19), Ales Kotalik(#12), Jochen Hecht(#55), Jason Pominville(#29), Drew Stafford(#21), Adam Mair(#22), Paul Gaustad(#28), Daniel Paille(#20), Andrew Peters(#76), Michael Ryan(#37)

Defense(7): Jaroslav Spacek(#6), Toni Lydman(#5), Teppo Numminen(#27), Henrik Tallinder(#10), Dmitri Kalinin(#45), Brian Campbell(#51), Nathan Paetsch(#38)

Goalies(2): Ryan Miller(#30), Jocelyn Thibault(#31)

Expected to get a look(5):
