Beat the Capitals 7-3 back on October 10th...On a four game winning streak coming into this game...Thoams Vanek has two goals and four assists in last four games...Henrik Tallinder will miss tonights game with a shoulder injury...Andrej Sekera was called up from Rochester and will replace Tallinder in the lineup...Derek Roy has at least one point in each of the last five games...moved up to ninth in the NHL on the power play...currently have the seventh ranked penalty kill in the league...have scored the first goal in the last four games

Won two straight games since Glenn Hanlon was fired...have only 17 points on the season the lowest in the league...Alex Ovechkin has 10 points (7-3-10) during an eight game point streak...Only 1-10-1 when allowing the games first goal
