2 crime reports filed against Evander Kane

Looks like the Buffalo Sabres winger Evander Kane is in trouble again. Local news station WIVB are reporting that Kane has had two crime reports filed against him earlier today.

The reports are related to an incident last night when Kane was ejected from a downtown bar. News 4 are reporting that witnesses called the station to say that the player was involved in a commotion sometime between Thursday night and Friday morning at the Bottoms Up establishment on Chippewa Street.

TSN have added more details to the developing story –

A person familiar with the situation tells The Associated Press that Buffalo police are investigating an allegation that Buffalo Sabres forward Evander Kane physically harassed two women at a downtown Buffalo bar.

The person spoke on the condition of anonymity on Friday because police have not revealed any details of their investigation.

The person said Kane allegedly grabbed the woman by the arm or shoulder early Friday morning. The person said no charges have been filed and no one has been arrested.

Local radio station WGR 550 has released images from the Buffalo Police of the two redacted reports –

Kane was previously under investigation recently but no charges were filed by the Erie County District Attorney’s Office after a sexual abuse claim was brought up against the player in December 2015.

Neither the player nor his representation have commented on this latest issue to have arisen with the volatile player.
