I'm not sure how much stock we can put into this very vague story about the Portland Pirates moving. If it is true it will move the Sabres AHL affiliate a little bit closer to home.

The Portland Pirates announced that they will once again play a game at HSBC Arena this season. The game will take place in November this time around.

Zagrapan leaves Sabres organization for Russia " Maine Hockey Journal It sounds to me like Zags didn't want to leave but felt he had no choice. It's easy to say that he was a disappointment but he never really had a chance with the Sabres. It will be interesting to see if this move will help him get a chance in the NHL.
