A few sources including Darren Dreger are reporting Jason Spezza's no trade clause list
Nashville, NY Islanders, Florida, Columbus, Vancouver, Winnipeg, Toronto, Montreal, Edmonton, and Calgary were on it?
The Reported asking price is a player, top prospect and first round pick ( they gave up their First to Anaheim in the Bobby Ryan deal)...be interesting to see how this plays out this offseason,,,,
First off, I get why he would avoid the Islanders, and even Winnipeg and Edmonton,...but I kind of wonder why he doesnt want to go to some of those teams....but according to this list, he would accept a trade to Buffalo? Can no move list's be modified once they are submitted? Or is it a one and done kind of deal? Im not sure how it works.....
The Sabres are not acquiring him, he's NOT coming here and I dont want him, that would be just a ridculous move
to make right now....but it I guess it's nice to see not everyone has Buffalo on their no trade list, or thinks of Buffalo so lowly as some might think lol....
It is interesting to see though....he apparently wants out of Canada so bad, and dislikes the other teams so much, he'd accept a deal to Buffalo?
But realistically and most likely, I dont want to look too much into this but....i'd assume that those are teams on his list who obviously have a need for a Top Center, so he's probably eliminating just the teams where he doesnt want to go, who have the assets to give and the need , and likely figures (and hopes) Buffalo is not even remotely interested in him.... (and I hope that too).
Good player, he'll be a good pickup for a team with a need, and again it's nice to see that Buffalo isnt on someones no move list.
