Watch: Zemgus Girgensons scores diving goal versus USA

GEER-GEN-SOOOONNNNSS!!!

Ted Nolan and Team Latvia have continued to find magic in their international tournament play, upsetting the USA in the IIHF World Championships yesterday 6-5.

However, the highlight reel play was provided thanks to Zemgus Girgensons. With the game tied 4-4, Girgensons took a pass from Gints Meija and, while falling and twisting down to the ice, somehow managed to flip the puck through the legs of USA goalie Tim Thomas.

Girgensons has shown the ability to score all kinds of goals, from the garbage goals coming from a scrum in front of the net to the SportsCenter Top 10-worthy goals like this. If he can continue to improve his offensive game, there's no telling how good the 20-year old could end up being.
