It has been a rough season for all of us fans. It didn't start that way. We had our "core" intact, a few promising young players that we thought would take the next step (Ennis) or at least recover from ineptitude (Myers), one of the best goalies in the world, and a hot rod draft pick that would make a big impact in the future.
We all know how that turned out. With Pominville gone, Ennis not taking a major step forward, Myers continually disappointing, Miller being very local about his frustrations, and Grigorenko wasting a year of eligibility skating with 4th liners we fans have our reasons to be thankful that this season has come to an end. Although I think we have a bright future, now is NOT the time to be positive. I think we should collect our disappointment, anger, frustration, and ill will that has built up and direct it to the Minnesota Wild. After all, if they blow it in their next two games which seems very possible, we get another .5% chance at the lottery. Hey, at this point, I'll take what I can get.
