You see it all throughout the NHL: Some guys play better when paired with specific guys, In Toronto, Tomas Kaberle always played best when paired with Bryan McCabe. Detroit fans hate and despise Kyle Quincey for being awful, but yet in LA when he played with Scuderi was actually nice solid D-Man. Suter and Weber in Nashville were arguably the best pairing in the NHL. In Buffalo there have been many decent tandems......We know Sulzer and Erhoff is a great pair, and for some reason Tallinder and Lydman were a great pairing for years. Campbell and Spacek developed some nice chemistry back in the day. Tyler Myers has not been the guy he was in his rookie year since Henrik Tallinder left for the Devils. Tallinder and Myers were the teams shut down pair three years ago and im sure now Tallinder could be had for a bag of pucks. Those two clearly had some chemistry and with defenseman its important.

Could reuniting Tallinder with Myers help the big man elevate his play?? It's an experiment...but would you take a brief look to see if it could help Myers get on his game? He'd be signed for 1 more year at 3.5m. beyond this one if you were to acquire him.
