Darcy should be calling columbus and offering up anything to get them to give up their first of THREE 1st round picks in this years upcoming draft. What I would offer were i Regier? How about Jason Pominville and Tyler Ennis. I know Pominville has been one of the Sabres only consistent producers and Ennis is a good young talent who has produced in his first 3yrs, which are exactly the reasons Columbus may just go for this trade and the fact they will still have two first round picks left. Pominville isnt the player this organization needs as their captain i'm sorry, great guy, but not the guy I want leading my team. The Sabres need a FRESH face, a true leader, or a star who makes players around him better, that is why this organization has been a failure ever since Daniel Briere left town for Philly.

This trade would give Buffalo two top 5 picks most likely in this years draft giving them the chance to grab not one but two players that can become stars and the face of the franchise. This team needs a complete new face they need to go young with new draft picks and young talent in rochester, the 05-08 team dreams are gone, Darcy needs to stop attaching himself to those days and the players from those days or he needs to go, its time to start a new team.
