Sabres fire Rolston and Regier, hire LaFontaine and Nolan

The final vestige of the old guard is now gone, as the Sabres have finally parted ways with Darcy Regier. Ron Rolston was also let go today, and replaced by former Sabres coach Ted Nolan, while Pat LaFontaine was hired as the Director of Hockey Operations.
