The first in a series of self-improvement articles, we're looking for your input on what you want from our Daily Links posts.
With a new, lockout-fueled hockey season underway, we're seeing users new and old come to (or return to) this site in droves. It's awesome, and we thank each and every one of you for stopping by. But we wouldn't amount to bupkis as a whole without our users, so we want to give you the chance to help us shape things around here to better serve you.
As stated in our tagline, Die By The Blade is "A Buffalo Sabres Blog For Intelligent Fans". The key words in that statement to me are "for fans", and to that end, we'd like to hear from you about how to make DBTB even better. Today's suggestion box deals with the Daily Links posts.
We want some user feedback on the Daily Links - what do you like, what don't you like? What would you like to see more of, or less of? Nothing is too crazy to suggest, whether it be more Swedish Elite League highlights or a daily section devoted to Bruins players throughout history losing fights.
How do you use the links posts? Do you skim things over or meticulously read each article? Do you care more about the Sabres links or the Around the NHL articles? Would you rather simply have an open thread? Let us know in the comments!
Alternately, if you'd rather not post something in the comments for all the world to see, you can email us your suggestion at email@example.com to submit your thoughts privately.
Here's your chance to tell us how you want things to work around here - speak now or forever hold your peace, Sabres fans.
Note: Just because you suggest it, doesn't mean it's necessarily going to happen. We're just looking for input.
