The 2007-08 Hobey Baker Award winner Kevin Porter has signed for the Buffalo Sabres. Porter was drafted by the Coyotes in 2004 and went on to have a standout career at the University of Michigan. In 163 games with Phoenix and Colorado, he has 25G, 20A and 48PIM. During the 2011-12 season with the Avs he averaged 9:10 a game in 35 games, 4G 3A, -2, 17PIM, 36 hits and 30.4% at the faceoff dot. The previous season he fared better, playing 74 games at 13:49 per game, 14G 11A, -11, 27PIM, 126 hits and 32.8%
