2012 NHL Draft: Sabres Select Judd Peterson In Round 7

Stay connected for news and updates

With the 204th pick in the 2012 NHL Draft, the Buffalo Sabres have taken Judd Peterson, a high school center from Duluth, MN.

Peterson, who has committed to St. Cloud State, stands 6'0, 190lbs, and has a righthanded shot. This kid absolutely dominated his competition last season, netting 47-36-83 in just 30 games. The most amazing stat? He scored 47 goals on just 51 shots - that's a 92.2% shooting percentage!

Peterson was projecting to be a Round 1-3 pick in the 2013 draft, so this could be a good value pick for Buffalo down the road. Also, as @Katebits pointed out on Twitter, it's always good to have a "Judd" in your organization.

With that pick, the Sabres 2012 NHL Draft is now complete!
