Here is what we have coming up for UFA's and RFA's:

UFA:

Boyes - $4M

Hecht - $3.5M

Sulzer - $700K

RFA:

Kaleta - $1M-ish

Brennan - $875K

Ennis - $875K

What will happen for our free agents:

We let Boyes, Hecht, and possible Brennan walk, Sulzer re-signs for around what he is making now, Kaleta re-signs for $1M to $2M per year, Ennis re-signs for $1M to $2M per year. That frees up $7,250,000 (if we average Kateta and Ennis at $1.5M each).

What's out there:

Which leaves the door open for a player like Alexander Semin, Zach Parise, or Dustin Penner. Alternately we can trade for a guy like Rick Nash who wants out and wants to compete for a cup.

What we should do:

1) Sign Semin, Parise, or Penner, I really don't care who.

2) Acquire Nash for Lenio plus a late draft pick and maybe swap a couple young guys in the system.

3) MAYBE trade Roy if we get the right deal With today's Locker Room Cleanout comments, looks like Roy VS Ruff is about to blow up. Guess it's time to let him go. Trade Roy and a young gun for Iginla???

4) Extend Leopold and Regehr NOW before they hit UFA at the end of next year
